I have the privilege of being the CEO of
Johnson Johnson during remarkable time
in history. Throughout my seven years in this
role, there have been many dramatic changes
in global politics, the world economy, science,
technology and culture. At the same time, there
has also been an accelerated pace of progress
in human health: unlocking the possibilities of
the human genome, evolving and expanding the
use of robotics and micro surgery, extending
the life expectancy for people with HIV, and
continuing to wage and win the fififight against
cancer and other debilitating diseases that
have resisted treatment for generations.
